The nationwide training on empowering members of the Citizens’ Representative Khural (CRKh) and self-governance bodies of Aimags and Soums launched Monday in Uliastai Soum of Zavkhan Aimag.
Present at the training’s opening were B.Boldbaatar, the secretary-general of the Parliamentary Office; Z.Narantuya, an advisor to the Chairman of Parliament; B.Otgonbaatar, a head of the CRKh of Zavkhan Aimag and Ts.Balkhyarvaa, the secretary-general of the CRKh.
Co-organized by the Parliamentary Office, the UNDP and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the training brought together 450 members of the CRKh. This training will continue until March 15 through four parts with topics such as local budget, finance management, environment and green development, human rights and gender.
Following the training’s opening, the Parliamentary Office secretary-general B.Boldbaatar got acquainted with activities of the Aimag’s CRKh and of a center of propagandizing parliamentary actions. He said, Parliament will pay big attention to delivering newly passed laws to people and reflecting people’s proposals and willingness in draft laws.
