Ms. M.Batchimeg, a member of parliament, received Honorary Consuls of Mongolia who are taking part in the 9th consultative meeting of Honorary Consuls here in Ulaanbaatar on 17 September 2014. 
Ms. Batchimeg briefed the participants on measures taken by the parliament and standing committees and on newly adopted laws and regulations. “Many Mongolians have been leaving their motherland to live and study abroad, whereas many foreigners are interested in doing business in Mongolia. So, the responsibilities and roles of the Honorary Consuls have been increasing," Ms. M.Batchimeg said and thanked the honorary consuls for their efforts protecting interests of Mongolians abroad.
