On the Constitution Day of Mongolia /January 13th/, an award ceremony named after Byaraa CHIMID, Hero of Labor of Mongolia, People’s teacher, Honorary lawyer, Doctor and Professor was held today in the State ceremonial hall, State palace.

B.Chimid Award was initiated by the Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia upon the decree No.176 dated November 18, 2014 for the purposes of encouraging and supporting scholars and academics, who have written a significant and invaluable academic paper, which aims to strengthen the legislative drafting process based on strong research and study, parliamentarianism, parliament research, Constitutional Law and development of the national legal system.

The first 2015 award was conferred to Mr. D.Lundeejantsan, current member of the Parliament, Head of State structures standing committee, Doctor of Juridical science, Professor, Honorable Lawyer of Mongolia for his work titled “State Powers and Their Separation.”

The 2018 Award was given to Doctor of Law, Professor, and Academician S.Narangerel for his work titled "Glossary of Mongolian Legislation"
