On January 18-20, 2018, Mongolian parliamentarians, headed by Mr. Miyegombo ENKHBOLD, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament), have participated in the 26th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF) took place in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

On January 18, during participation in the 26 APPF themed “Parliamentary partnership for Peace, Innovation and Sustainable Development”, Chairman M.Enkhbold attended the Executive Committee Meeting and in his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the Vietnamese government and its people for successfully organizing such a major regional event, saying that Mongolia will continue to actively participate in the forum and will continue to work on implementing the joint decisions.

Same day, the Meeting of Women Parliamentarians has been also hosted, where Mongolian women parliamentarians was represented by MP B.Undarmaa. The session discussed the issues of gender equality, promoting women's employment through financial resources, prioritizing education, skills and abilities, and protecting against violence and discrimination by promoting common interests of women in parliament.
