The Chairman noted that the cabinet has decided last week to set up a unit responsible for introducing coal gasification technology at the Mining Ministry, and said that, in essence, the unit's activity was launched by this meeting.
A memorandum of understanding between the Mining Ministry of Mongolia and the Sinopec Corporation was signed during the Mongolian Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag's official visit to China in last autumn.
