On March 21, 2017, an official ceremony of extending theoriginal version of the Police Service Act was held at the central square namedafter Military leader D.Sukhbaatar.

Present at the ceremony were Chairman of the State GreatHural (Parliament) M.Enkhbold, Vice-Chairman of the Parliament Ts.Nyamdorj,Chairman of the Standing Committee on Legal Affairs of the ParliamentSh.Radnaased, Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs S.Byambatsogt, CommissionerGeneral of the National Police Agency U.Enkhtur and other officials.

The ceremony was opened by Commissioner General U.Enkhturand in his remarks, “The law enforcement act was first ratified in 1993 andtoday we are administered with renewed version of the Act that provides with acloser collaboration between police services and civilians in order to combat andprevent crimes”.

After delivering his speech, Chairman of the ParliamentM.Enkhbold presented the Act to Minister of Justice and Internal AffairsS.Byambatsogt, who extended further to Commissioner General U.Enkhtur.

The inauguration event continued with oath taking ceremony attendedby officers of the Criminal police department, Investigation department, Trafficpolice as well as Law enforcement university and other staff.
