Chairman of the State Great Hural, Dashzegviin Amarbayasgalan, departed today (March 18, 2025) for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the invitation of Speaker of the House of Commons, the Right Honourable Lindsay Hoyle.
The official visit, scheduled from March 18 to 23, 2025, marks the first-ever visit at the level of Mongolia’s parliamentary chairman to the UK. The chairman was seen off by Secretary General of the State Great Hural B. Baasandorj and Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Mongolia, Andy Battson.
As Mongolia’s third neighbor and a key partner in Europe, the United Kingdom holds strategic importance in strengthening bilateral relations. This visit aims to expand cooperation, enhance mutual understanding, increase high-level dialogue, and further develop inter-parliamentary collaboration between the two countries.
