Chairman of the State Great Hural D. Amarbayasgalan meets with Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning

Chairman of the State Great Hural D. Amarbayasgalan met with Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Huning at the Great Hall of the People during his visit to China.


At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman Wang Huning emphasized that China attaches great importance to its relationship and cooperation with Mongolia. He noted that China is committed to implementing the agreements reached at the highest levels to bring tangible benefits to the people of both nations.


Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan introduced the structure, vision, and priorities of Mongolia’s newly formed Parliament, highlighting ongoing legal reforms under the "Three Pillars of Excellence" policy. He also underscored the importance of aligning the development policies of the two countries, particularly in the context of China’s upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan. He expressed that including major Mongolia-China joint projects in the plan would create a legal framework for implementation, ensuring that previously agreed initiatives translate into real progress in bilateral cooperation.


Chairman Wang Huning reiterated that China’s foreign policy continues to prioritize open and constructive engagement with neighboring countries, particularly Mongolia, with a commitment to friendly, sincere, mutually beneficial, and inclusive cooperation.


During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on accelerating the development of the Bulgan-Takashiken border port, expanding cooperation in high technology, renewable energy, agriculture, and livestock sectors, and strengthening regional development initiatives. Both parties reached a broad consensus on these matters.


Chairman Wang Huning, widely regarded as a key ideologist within the Communist Party of China, has played a pivotal role in shaping China’s major policy frameworks, including the “Scientific Outlook on Development,” “Chinese Dream,” and “Common Prosperity” initiatives.
