Draft Resolution Submitted to Commemorate the 130th Anniversary of Statesman J. Sambuu’s Birth

A group of MPs, including S. Erdenebold, Ts. Tuvaan, D. Regdel, U. Otgonbayar, and D. Batbayar, submitted a draft resolution to Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan of the State Great Hural (Parliament) today, December 13, 2024. The resolution proposes measures to commemorate the 130th anniversary of renowned Mongolian statesman and social figure Sambuu Jamsran.


J. Sambuu, affectionately referred to as the “Sage Grandfather of the Mongolian State,” was a highly respected public servant admired by the people. According to the draft resolution, the MPs emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting his exemplary state service, innovative administrative approaches, and his invaluable contributions to Mongolia’s traditional livestock-based economy. Educating younger generations on these principles remains a priority.

MP S. Erdenebold highlighted that celebrating this milestone would provide an opportunity to showcase J. Sambuu’s legacy, including his significant contributions to social and economic development, strengthening international relations, and promoting peace. It aims to raise public awareness of his life and achievements while honoring his dedication to Mongolia’s progress.
