Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan welcomed a delegation led by Utah State Senate President Stuart Adams from the United States on October 17, 2024.
At the start of the meeting, Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan expressed his satisfaction with the expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries over the 37 years since establishing diplomatic ties. He highlighted the shared values underpinning this relationship, including democracy, human rights, freedom, the rule of law, and a commitment to regional and international peace.
He emphasized the role of legislative bodies and parliamentary members as essential bridges in the relationship between the two countries, noting the importance of inter-parliamentary collaboration. He also expressed support for strengthening cooperation between the Mongolian State Great Hural (Parliament) and the U.S. Congress, aiming to deepen connections between their members.
Senate President Stuart Adams conveyed his appreciation for the rapidly growing partnership under the Strategic Third Neighbor policy between the United States and Mongolia. Representing Utah, he emphasized their desire to deepen cooperation in health, education, science, and technology.
