At the invitation of H.E. Mr. D. Amarbayasgalan, Chairman of the State Great Hural, The Hon. Susan Lines, President of the Australian Senate, has arrived in Mongolia, leading an official parliamentary delegation.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the State Great Hural, B. Purevdorj; Mongolia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Australia, D. Davaasuren; and Australian Ambassador to Mongolia, The Hon. Katie Smith, alongside other officials.

As part of the visit, Chairman Amarbayasgalan and President Lines will hold an extended meeting focused on enhancing and developing inter-parliamentary cooperation between Mongolia and Australia.

The official welcome ceremony for President Lines, hosted by Chairman Amarbayasgalan, is scheduled to begin today at Sukhbaatar Square, marking the commencement of the formal proceedings.
