A parliamentary delegation from Australia, led by the President of the Senate, Susan Lines, will make an official visit to Mongolia from October 16 to 19, 2024.

During the visit, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, H.E. Mr. D. Amarbayasgalan, and President of the Australian Senate, Susan Lines, will hold official talks, deliberating on the expansion of bilateral relations, enhancement of inter-parliamentary cooperation, and other matters of mutual interest.

In addition, President of the Senate, Susan Lines, will pay a courtesy call on the President of Mongolia, H.E. U. Khurelsukh.

This visit, the first ever by an Australian Senate President to Mongolia, is expected to play a pivotal role in deepening political dialogue and mutual trust between Mongolia and Australia. It will also further strengthen cooperation between the two legislative bodies.
