Such a discussion meeting will run this May 12 at the State House, organized by the Secretariat of the State Great Khural of Mongolia and the Natural Resources Governance Institute.
A senior economic analyst of the Natural Resources Governance Institute will give a presentation about the analysis and recommendation on the draft law on Fund for Future Generations, roles of macroeconomic policy and resource funds, ensuring adequate investment system for the natural resources fund, its transparency and reporting mechanism, public and executive monitoring.
The President’s adviser on Citizens’ Participation and Economic Policy L.Dashdorj and head of Natural Resources Management Division of the Ministry of Finance B.Togoldor will give information on the draft law on Fund for Future Generations and moderate open discussions.
The action will be attended by MPs, staff of the State Great Khural Secretariat, working groups in charge of the development of the draft law, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, delegation of the Canadian Embassy, policy analysts, researchers and representatives of other associated institutions.
