The Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar received the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Luxembourg Mr. Philippe Cahen on August 21, 2023.

The parties discussed and exchanged views on strengthening the relations between the two countries, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, and other issues. Mr.Zandanshatar emphasized that the European Union is Mongolia’s “third neighbor” connected with the latter by the shared values of democracy, human rights, freedom and free market economy. He also commended Mr.Cahen’s valuable contribution to the enhancement of the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries. 

The parties agreed to enrich the bilateral cooperation with economic and investment activities in the future, and acknowledged that there is an ample opportunity for cooperation in the areas of renewable energy, green financing and the carbon market.

The meeting was attended by his Excellency L.Bold, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and officials of the State Great Hural.
