As a part of his official visit to Japan, G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia met with F.Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan today (03.03.2023).
At the beginning of meeting, F.Kishida, the Prime Minister of Japan, expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the State Great Hural for providing a time to meet him and said that he was delighted to meet him personally. F.Kishida said that the last year has marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries. He emphasized the importance on deepening Japan-Mongolia relations, strengthening people-to-people friendship, evaluating half a century of cooperation and defining prospects and directions for development in the next 50 years.
G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural stated that we are always grateful for the help and valuable contributions of the Japanese government and people when Mongolia was going through the transition into the market economy.
Deepening the development of friendly relations and cooperation with Japan which is a close strategic partner in the region as a "third neighbor" with common values of democracy, human rights and freedom is one of the priorities of Mongolia's foreign policy, and the State Great Hural of Mongolia attaches great importance to it.
I would like to, therefore, ask F. Kishida, the Prime Minister of Japan, to support in expanding the friendly relations between the two countries.
