According to the Resolution No.80 of 2022 State Great Hural, a decision was made to organize a Deliberative polling "Let's deliberate and decide". The Deliberative poll, aimed at building national consensus, would identify the critical socio-economic challenges, determine those of the highest priority, and the ways to address them.  

The staffs of the Secretariat of the State Great Hural will act as moderators at the Deliberative polling and will be trained as moderators. Today, on January 9, 2023, the Secretary General of the State Great Hural Mrs. L.Ulziisaikhan conducted a training on the topic of "Facilitators of the Deliberative polling" to the Secretariat staffs. During the training, Secretary General introduced principles of processes and requirements for moderators in the first and second stages of polling, as per the Law on Deliberative Polling.

Mrs. Ts.Battuya, from Mongolia Office of International Development Law Organization, continued the training with a presentation on "Ten core skills of a moderator". Among those were building relationship, active listening, neutral position, flexibility, acceptance, and respect. She, also, highlighted organizational and management skills, knowledge of the subject, motivation and attentiveness. The Secretariat of the State Great Hural is planning to conduct a series of trainings for the moderators.
