March 14, 2022. Draft law initiators in collaboration with the Standing Committee on Industrial Policy of the State Great Hural (Parliament) organized a discussion on the Legal Status of the Industrial and Technology Park.

March 14, 2022. The Parliamentary Research Institute of the Secretariat of the State Great Hural organized a virtual training on “Communication Skills” within the framework of the personal development support program.

March 15, 2022. The 2022 spring session of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia commenced at 10:05 am with a presence of 80.1 percent of parliamentarians. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh, Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene, members of the Cabinet, heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Mongolia, and heads of government agencies appointed by the State Great Hural. According to Article 18.1 of the Law on the State Great Hural of Mongolia, the State Great Hural commences its regular spring session from March 15th and the autumn regular session from October 1st, where each session is to convene for at least 75 working days.

March 15, 2022. Member of the Government, Minister of Mongolia, Head of the Cabinet Secretariat Ts.Nyamdorj submitted the 2021 implementation of the five-year guidelines for the development of Mongolia in 2021-2025, and the 2021 implementation of the Government Action Plan for 2020-2024 to the Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar.

March 15, 2022. The Ad Hoc Committee on the COVID-19 Response heard reports on the measures taken by the Government of Mongolia, State Emergency Commission, and the Ministry of Health in 2021.

March 16, 2022. At the Standing Committee on Economics of the State Great Hural, it was agreed to discuss the draft resolution of the State Great Hural on “Establishment of a free economic zone in Khushig valley”.

March 16, 2022. The Standing Committee on Social Policy of the State Great Hural organized a discussion on “Opportunities and solutions to introduce social welfare and paid services for the elderly”.

March 16, 2022. Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar received Mr. Hannes Takacs, Head of Mongolia at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the further development of cooperation with the EBRD.

March 17, 2022. At the plenary session of the State Great Hural, one of the issues resolved was agreed to discuss the draft resolution of the State Great Hural on “Establishment of a free economic zone in Khushig valley” and transferred to affiliate Standing Committee for the first reading.
