April 12, 2022. At the Standing Committee meeting on Legal Affairs, the first reading of the draft law on amendments to the General Law on State Registration was held. By amending the law, the 12-digit number will be replacing a registration number, home address and other relevant information on a citizen’s ID card. Also, the Standing Committee Resolution on hosting hearings for a member of the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia and a member in charge of torture prevention was approved. According to the Resolution, the hearings will be organized on May 3, 2022.
April 12, 2022. At the Standing Committee meeting on Industrial Policy, it was agreed to discuss the revised draft law on legal status of the Industry and Technology Park. The legal status of Industry and Technology Park was ratified in 2009 and by revising the legal status, the sustainable business environment, investment, park infrastructure, special permission length and other issues will be resolved, says the law initiator.

At the Standing Committee meeting on Budget, the first reading on reducing the negative impacts and supply shortages of key goods and products caused by the international crisis was held and agreed to introduce its decision to the plenary session. Also, the Sustainable Tourism Development Project (Phase 2) agreement to establish between the Government of Mongolia and ADB was reviewed but not supported by the majority of attended MPs.

In regards with proceeding the draft law on the first reading on reducing the negative impacts and supply shortages of key goods and products caused by the international crisis, Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar received representatives of manufacturers and exchanged views on possible solutions and solutions to reduce the prices of key products.
April 14, 2022. Minister of Justice and Home Affairs, MP Kh.Nyambaatar presented a revised law on Violations and draft law to amend the Law on Investigation and Resolution of Violations.

Moreover, a parliamentary resolution to form an Ad hoc Committee was ratified.
