Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav attended the 5th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament hosted in Vienna, Austria on September 7-8, 2021. Before the event, Chairman G.Zandanshatar visited the UN Office in Vienna and held talks with Mr. Li Yong, Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on September 6, 2021.

Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav, Charman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, met Mr. Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the National Council of the Republic of Austria, on September 6, 2021. The parties exchanged views on the importance of multilateral mechanisms and the significance of inter-parliamentary cooperation in ensuring international security and stability.

Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) G.Zandanshatar paid a visit to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Headquarters on September 6, 2021, and held talks with Ms. Helga Maria Schmid, Secretary-General of the OSCE.

September 7, 2021. A meeting of the sub-working group was held to provide technical assistance to the working group responsible for preparing the draft Law on Protection of Personal Information.

September 7, 2021. A working group to review the implementation of the detailed environmental assessment of the Oyu Tolgoi project, environmental management plan, environmental impact of groundwater uses in the Gobi region met with representatives of relevant organizations.

September 9, 2021. Former Chairman of the State Great Hural D.Lundeejantsan was awarded with the Order of the Rising Sun, Grand Cordon. The presenting ceremony of the Order was held at the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.

On September 7, 2021, Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia held a meeting with Mr. Park Byeong-seug, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, in Vienna and exchanged views on expanding bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia the Republic of Korea.

Mr. G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, met with Ms. Akiko Santo, President of the House of Councilors of Japan, in Vienna during the Fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament on July 7, 2021.

Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia Mr. G.Zandanshatar participated in talks with Mr. K.I.Kosachev, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation during the 5th World Conference of Parliament Speakers in Vienna, Austria.

Mr. G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, met with Mr. Om Birla, Speaker of the Lok Sabha (Parliament) of the Republic of India in Vienna to exchange views on bilateral relations and cooperation.

September 10, 2021. A delegation led by the Chair of the France-Mongolian Friendship Group in the Senate of the French Republic arrived in Mongolia for an official visit.

September 10, 2021. Deputy Chairman of the State Great Hural T.Ayursaikhan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia Krzysztof Bojko. During the meeting Ambassador handed an invitation from Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Ms. Małgorzata Gosiewska to pay an official visit to Poland.

September 10th, is a Day of Tribute to the Memory of the Victims of the Political Repression. On this day, President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh, Chairman of the Parliament G.Zandanshatar and Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene paid respects and laid wreaths to the Monument for the Politically Repressed.

September 10, 2021. Deputy Chairwoman of the State Great Hural and Head of the State Commission for Atonement S.Odontuya and other officials paid respects and laid wreaths to the Monument for the Politically Repressed located in Songinokhairkhan district.
