Member of the State Great Hural B.Saranchimeg is chairing a working group to draft a package of environmental laws to protect, restore and use the environment. In this regard, she addressed Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene by delivering a letter to ban on harvesting of cedar nuts in order to protect the forest.

October 12, 2021. In the frameworks to mark the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Russian Federation, the “100th Anniversary Meeting” between the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy of the State Great Hural and the Foreign Cooperation Committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation was virtually organized.

October 12, 2021. At the Standing Committee on Legal Affairs, it was agreed to discuss the draft law on amending the Criminal Procedure Code. The bill initiators deem that it is necessary to strengthen the independence of the judiciary and prosecutors.

They expressed their views on how to work with the State Great Hural (Parliament) to revive the economy after the pandemic.

October 12, 2021. Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar received delegates headed by Mr. Ettore Rosato, Vice-President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding bilateral trade, economic, political, and cultural cooperation.

October 13, 2021. Member of the State Great Hural B.Purevdorj submitted a draft law on the procedure for complying with the Law on Amendments to the Law on Pensions and Benefits from the Social Insurance Fund.

October 13, 2021. At the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy, the draft law on ratification of the loan agreement between Mongolia and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank was agreed to discuss. The agreement aims to mitigate the adverse health, social and economic impacts caused by the pandemic and to alleviate poverty. Also, the draft law on ratification the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons was agreed to discuss and introduce its decision at the plenary session.

October 13, 2021. The Standing Committee on Social Poilicy organized a discussion on “Rationalization of the structure and composition of the National Council for Social and Health Insurance”.

October 14, 2021. Head of the Cabinet Secretariat, Minister of Mongolia, Ts.Nyamdorj submitted a bill on amendments to the Law on Structure of the Government of Mongolia and amendments to the Law on Composition of the Government of Mongolia to the Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar.

October 14, 2021. At the plenary session of the State Great Hural, the loan agreement between Mongolia and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank was discussed and agreed to ratify by majority of votes. After, the draft law on amending the Criminal Procedure Code was agreed to discuss. Moreover, the first discussion was held on the 2022 budget of Mongolia, the 2022 budget of the Social Insurance Fund, the 2022 budget of the Health Insurance Fund, and the 2022 budget of the Future Heritage Fund.

October 15, 2021. At the plenary session of the State Great Hural, the final discussion of the revised draft Law on Seeds and Varieties of Cultivated Plants and the accompanying draft laws was held. Also, the autumn harvest and winter preparations for the agricultural sector were introduced.

October 15, 2021. Minister of Labor and Social Welfare A.Ariunzaya submitted a package of draft laws on Social Insurance. The package comprises 5 draft laws including the revised General Law on Social Insurance.
