May 24, 2021. Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Head of the Mongolian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Mr. D.Tsogtbaatar met with H.E. Jalgas Adilbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia.

May 24, 2021. A working group, headed by MPs J.Chinburen and S.Ganbaatar, responsible for preparing the revised draft law on Medicines and Medical Devices got acquainted with the operation of the “IVCO” and “Merit” pharmaceutical industries.

May 25, 2021. Mrs. B.Saranchimeg, a member of the State Great Hural and a member of Bureau of the IPU Standing Committee on Democracy and Human Rights, and Mr. Ts.Munkh-Orgil, a member of the State Great Hural, have represented the Parliament of Mongolia at the 207th Governing Council meeting which was attended by more than 220 delegates.

May 25, 2021. At the Social Policy Standing Committee meeting, the final hearing of the draft law on amending the law on Social Insurance was held to reduce the social insurance premiums by 2 percent.

May 25, 2021. “The human rights and equality in Mongolia” meeting was organized at the State Palace, where Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar delivered welcoming remarks. The meeting was attended by human rights defenders, Ambassadors of Germany and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the United Nations and other representatives from the Amnesty International, and the National Human Rights Commission.

May 25, 2021. H.E.Mr. Zafer Ates, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia had a courtesy call on H.E.Mr. G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia. 

May 25, 2021. The Ad Hoc Committee on the COVID-19 Response heard reports of the State Emergency Commission of Mongolia, the Bank of Mongolia, and the Financial Regulatory Commission on current implementing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

May 25, 2021. At the State Structure Standing Committee meeting, the draft resolution on the establishment of the Ad Hoc Committee on Development Policy of Ulaanbaatar was reviewed and agreed to proceed for further discussion.

May 26, 2021. At the initiative of the Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar, a meeting and discussion themed on the “Wealth Owner Mongolia” was organized.

May 26, 2021. The plenary of the virtual 142nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union’s (IPU) which unites the parliaments of the world has begun, where Mr. Duarte Pacheco, the IPU President, opened the plenary with a keynote address on "Overcoming the pandemic today and building a better tomorrow: the role of parliaments." Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, presented his address to the plenary of the 142nd IPU Assembly.

May 26, 2021. Introduction and meeting of the draft law on Support of Humanitarian Education was held at the State Palace. G.Zandanshatar, Speaker of the State Great Hural, opened the meeting with the participation of the members of the State Great Hural, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Teacher Training Institute, the Capital City Education Department, secondary schools, kindergarten administrators and teachers.

May 27, 2021. At the plenary session of the State Great Hural, the final hearing of the draft law on amending the law on Social Insurance was held and transferred to the Standing Committee on Social Policy for preparation of ratification. Also, the draft resolution on the establishment of the Ad Hoc Committee on Development Policy of Ulaanbaatar was reviewed and agreed upon for further discussion.

May 27, 2021. Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar met with representatives of the bank and financial institutions to exchange views on challenges, development policies, and its activities.

May 28, 2021. Chairman of the State Great Hural Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav received Mr. Alex Haikens, UNICEF Representative to Mongolia and Mr.Tim Jenkins, People In Need Country Director to Mongolia.

May 28, 2021. At the plenary session of the State Great Hural, the draft resolution on the establishment of the Ad Hoc Committee on Development Policy of Ulaanbaatar was reviewed and agreed to establish.

May 28, 2021. Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar met with representatives of trade and business, exchanged views, and held discussions on intensifying the economy and developing public-private partnerships.

May 28, 2021. Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia H.E. Mr. I.K.Azizov. During the meeting, Ambassador I.K.Azizov handed over the Victory Day greetings of the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Mrs. V.I. Matvienko.
