The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) Standing committee on Economic and Sustainable development held a virtual meeting today (20 May 2021) at 3:00 pm (Ulaanbaatar time). Representing the parliament of Mongolia, Mr.Ts.Tserenpuntsag, member of the State Great Hural participated in the virtual meeting.

APA Standing committee’s meeting was chaired by Mr.Ahmed Alsalloom, MP of Bahrain and Chairperson of the Standing committee on Economic and Sustainable development, and was attended by around 50 delegates from 18 member countries.

During the virtual meeting, parliamentarians discussed the role and engagement of parliaments in the implementation of Sustainable development goals within the scope of the Standing committee mandate.
