The Government of Japan today on April 29, 2021 announcedthat in its 2021 Spring Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals, it willconfer Mr. Lundeejantsan.D with the Order of the Rising Sun, Grand Cordon.

The Order of the Rising Sun /Kyokujitsu-shō/ established in1875 by Emperor Meiji was the first national decoration awarded by the Governmentof Japan, where the Grand Gordon is the first class of the Order, and istypically awarded to foreign heads of government, chairpersons of prominentinternational organizations and leading politicians, business leaders anddiplomats.

Incumbent senior advisor to the Chairman of the State GreatHural, D.Lundeejantsan is conferred for his contributions to strengtheningbilateral relations and promoting inter-parliamentary exchanges between Japanand Mongolia.

Lundeejantsan Danzan served as a member of parliament for 30years, former Vice Chairman and Chairman of the State Great Hural /Parliament/of Mongolia. He has worked as a member of Mongolia-Japan Parliamentary Group forconsecutive 20 years since 2000.
