On January 21, 2021, Secretariat officers led by First Secretaryof Secretariat of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, N.Tsogtsaikhan had avirtual meeting with Marija Stosic, Head of Parliamentary Technical Cooperationand Alexandre Fuzessery, Senior Advisor at the Swiss Parliament.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on expandingcooperation between the Secretariats of two Parliaments in the field ofmonitoring, evaluation and training. They also stressed the importance of strengthening thecapacity of the Secretariat to implement the legislative and oversightfunctions of the Parliament, monitoring and evaluating the laws passed by theParliament, creating an integrated database, ensuring citizen participation andproviding a legal environment.

The Secretariat of the State Great Hural (Parliament) ofMongolia has been collaborating with the Swiss Parliamentary Services (SPS)since 2017 by expressing an interest in working with the SPS in the field ofevaluation in order to benefit from the expertise of the Swiss Parliament’s ParliamentaryControl of the Administration.
