NAURYZ GREETINGS

Dear Aksanals,

My fellow Kazakhs,

On behalf of the State Great Hural and myself, I would like to extend my sincere greetings to you on the occasion of Nauryz, the celebration for the sun and spring.

As-salamu alaykum.

Historical sources note that Nauryz was celebrated even before mankind acquired literacy. For that reason, Nauryz is a celebration for all mankind.

Celebrated by more than 400 million people in over 40 countries, the Kazakh people greet their families and relatives and solemnly listen to the blessing of their elders on this day. 

The culture, history and traditions are honored, and passed onto their descendants and the devotion to friendship is respected.

It is universally acknowledged that the Kazakhs of Mongolia have admirably preserved their language, culture and customs among the Kazakhs of the world. This is your invaluable contribution to the cultural heritages of the world.

The State of Mongolia respects the traditions and religions of its Kazakh citizens and pays close attention to preserving and enriching their uniqueness.

The development of industry and business, the development of infrastructure, the right of citizens to education and health, and the improvement of people's livelihoods have been at the forefront of government policy, in Bayan-Ulgii, the home of the Mongolian Kazakhs.

 I am confident that our Kazakhs will continue to make a valuable contribution to local development, to strengthening democracy and justice, to respecting human rights and freedoms, and laying the foundation for the sustainable development of our country, as before.

Let us all work together to create a New Mongolia with a government that places its citizens at the forefront of its work, a society that is governed by the rule of law, citizens that are well educated, and an economy that supports development.

Dear citizens,

Nauryz conveys the meaning of "New Day" in Persian. Therefore, may each new day bring you joy and hope.

I wish you to celebrate the festival of abundance with love, bountiful blessings, a dastarkhan full of feast, and a melody of Aitys.
