Upon an invitation of Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mr. İsmail Kahraman, Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Mr. Miyegombo ENKHBOLD is conducting an official visit to the Republic of Turkey.

On the first day of the visit /2018.03.07/, Chairmen of the two legislative organs held a tete-a-tete talks followed by official bilateral meetings, where Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Turkey R.Bold, head of Mongolia-Turkey parliamentary group at the State Great Khural MP T.Ayursaikhan, Minister of Labor and Social Protection MP S.Chinzorig, MP D.Ganbold, MP G.Soltan, and MP B.Purevdorj have represented Mongolian side. 

In his opening remarks Mr.İsmail Kahraman emphasized that Mongolia and Turkey are welded by historical and ethnic relations and thus, we are paying a significant attention to this visit. On behalf of the people of Turkey and on the Grand National Assembly wish you a successful visit, which is important not only on inter-parliamentary ties but also in bilateral relations. As a result of joint efforts, the slowed down mutual collaborations have been putting forward and during the today’s bilateral meetings, a joint protocol of co-operation between the Parliaments of Mongolia and Turkey was inked by two Chairmen. Moreover, a document of cooperation between Ministries of Labor and Social Protection of two states have been also signed to bring cooperation into a new phase. 

Chairman of Mongolian parliament M.Enkhbold noted, Turkey is Mongolia’s third neighbor with comprehensive partnership relations and to date, we have been highly evaluating the developing relations and cooperation. I am confident that this Speaker-level visit would contribute to maintain the frequency of political dialogue and to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation. The bilateral cooperation between the two legislative bodies has important implications for expanding bilateral relations in all fields. Therefore, it is important not to limit mutual visits between Speakers and Vice-Speakers but to broaden frequent visits and meetings between Standing Committee members and officers of two Secretariats in order to exchange each other's experiences and share information.

He also underlined that cooperation between the defense and law enforcement sectors of two countries has been successfully broadening and now it is needed to further enrich trade and economic cooperation. Also, regularly to host business meetings and forum workshops to build relationships based on mutual trust and business interests.
